Been running the Trion for two seasons now, about 800 ha and no major issues. Switching between grain and legumes is easy - pull the shield, loosen two bolts, swap the drum and some segments, done in about 20 minutes. The throughput stays steady even on damp nights, long soybean stems don't wrap like they did on my old walker machine. Chopper speed changes are quick too, only a few steps. Not perfect, but it lets us harvest fast when weather turns bad.

Tried the Trion during the harvest season while comparing it to other options. Found the header setup straightforward, and the grain quality achieved is consistent. Although the navigation interface is user-friendly, the initial configuration took more time than anticipated but is manageable once familiar.

The Trion's handling performance is quite impressive, managing well during continuous operation on wet soils found in drained coastal farms. Precision agriculture feature has been advantageous for variable field conditions. Maintenance intervals are appropriately spaced, yet spare part availability could be improved. The cabin comfort level makes those long operational hours manageable.

So, I've been using the Claas Trion 530 for a couple of weeks. The APS system definitely makes a difference for grain separation; the throughput is consistent, and losses are minimal. Adjusting to the Dynamic Power took a bit since it operates differently than my older combine, but now the efficiency boost is quite noticeable. The workspace in the cabin is spacious, making long days less exhausting. However, I think the joystick placement could be slightly more intuitive. Overall, solid performance with a good balance between features.

I like how the Lexion has automatic systems for stuff like the fan and rotor flaps. Makes it a bit easier on slopes, don’t need to mess around so much with the settings, just drive and let it go. Grain loss is low, at least in the crops around here, didn’t have to slow down much. Cab isn’t fancy but it’s pretty quiet, no issues spending whole days inside. Maintenance is so-so, not the worst I’ve seen but wish the straw chopper was easier to reach for cleaning. Price bugs me though, cost keeps creeping up every year. But it does the job and keeps rolling as long as I do regular checks.

Ran a Lex for last harvest, and I’ll say this: the design is a bit more stylish than my old Deere, though not sure that matters much when you’re out in the dust. Still, it feels less bulky up front and the layout’s just easier on the eyes. That being said, the operation felt odd at first - like, the threshing system with the drum and two rotors is a bit different, takes a day or so to wrap your head around it. On the upside, spreading straw really feels better on this - can toss chaff farther, so you don’t get those annoying mounds. No major pain with the electronics, nothing fancy like auto-set for crop types, and honestly, that’s fine with me. Not as many little quirks as I expected. Wouldn’t call it perfect, but gets the job done pretty well.

After some time with the Claas Trion, I've had mixed feelings. Power is there, but adjustments to crop type could be more intuitive through the interface. While functionality aligns with performance claims, the machine isn't without its quirks. Comfort in the cabin is solid, providing necessary ergonomics for long tasks, though not vastly superior to other choices.

Ran the Claas Trion for a full season last year. The IPS Walker threshing system impressed me, grain loss was low even in tougher conditions, but it took a bit of getting used to with the controls for the cleaning system. I like that you can tweak the JetStream from the cab, makes life a bit easier. One thing though, those hydraulic fan variators sometimes feel like a pain to set up just right if you switch crops often. The separation feels pretty strong, especially with that MSS system stirring up the straw. Not the quietest cab though and seat could be softer, I'd say comfort is fine but not top notch.

I got the chance to operate the Claas Lexion 8700 during last year's harvest. Here's my take. The new monitor system is a big improvement; I could navigate the settings easily without much prior training. Although the control system is user-friendly, the dependency on the electronic interface might be tricky during peak season if a glitch occurs. Efficiency-wise, the dynamic cooling system stood out; it's great that the grain retains quality even in the heat. Some aspects still need improvement, like accessibility to certain service points.

Testing out the Lexion 480 for our operations revealed its strengths in durability and adaptability. Adjusting the settings for optimal performance did require some time, but once set, it executed tasks efficiently. Comfortable enough for long days, and its upkeep remains manageable.
